YOUTH PHILATELY IN HONG KONG

A little piece of stamp seems simple but in fact consists of an array of fun! In the old days it could be a channel of communication between the government and the citizens; it may serve as the bridge to link people from different places together; it presents messages in a creative and artistic way etc. All of which add up to make philately a very fascinating hobby for collectors. Despite the rapidly developing technology and increasingly soaring use of digital gadgets, Hongkong Post believes that philately is an irreplaceable, timeless art which can flourish if more young collectors are captured. Therefore, HongKong Post is devoted to encourage students to engage in philately. Students can learn more about the society and history through stamps and meanwhile develop their sense in appreciating arts and culture.
